Bio

Laura began her music career as a singer/songwriter and toured full-time with one of Canada’s
most actively booked contemporary Christian groups.  She recorded five albums with more
than twenty of her own original works, many of which received long time airplay on Christian
radio stations.
Fifteen years ago Laura’s life crumbled when her husband left their marriage, her family fell
apart, and her career as a touring musician came to a halt.
For a season, it seemed as though writing and recording was a thing of the past; but as God
rescued her and put her life back together piece by piece, Laura began writing and singing
again.
She now boldly shares her story and the songs she wrote along the way in her sixth and latest
album: A Different Story
When she is not planning worship events, Laura is teaching singing to up-and-coming artists in
her hometown studio: The Singer’s Spotlight
